AMPM EXPANDS INTO OKLAHOMA MARKET WITH COMPLETE MOBILE BILLING SOLUTION FOR HOSPITALISTS

AUSTIN—AMPM, an Austin, Texas-headquartered medical billing and practice management leader, announced today its expansion into the Oklahoma market with the addition of Global Physician Services, LLC to its client list.

"Expansion into other regional markets is our goal for 2008," said Kathy Campbell, President and CEO of AMPM.  "Our service is perfect for hospitalists because we are the only company that offers a complete financial solution, from charge capture to money in your bank account,…and everything in between!"

Global Physician Services, located in Shawnee, Okla., is a new hospitalist group just outside of the Oklahoma City area. Dr. David Hadley and Dr. James Lynch will utilize AMPM's complete mobile billing solution, Pocket Practice®, which is a mobile charge system that integrates with AMPM's billing services. Pocket Practice was originally designed for hospitalists and was launched in 2006.

AMPM currently services physician practices throughout Texas as well as markets in nine other states - Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Oregon and Virginia.  The company will be expanding it reach to hospitalists through sponsorship of Hospital Medicine 2008, the annual meeting of the Society of Hospital Medicine, April 3-5 in San Diego, Calif. During this conference, AMPM will educate hospitalists on how to gain better knowledge of the financial health of their practice.
